MYOB calls for early adopters for new browser-based AccountRight interface

12 May 2020

MYOB is calling for early adopters to test a new browser feature for MYOB AccountRight that can be accessed from any computer and on any mobile or tablet, giving users flexibility in how and where they work for no added cost.

The browser-based feature includes robust functionality around banking, sales, purchases and payroll, with more to be added after launch. It will also provide a more seamless experience for accountants and bookkeepers working between MYOB’s two SME products.

“The workflow on the browser will be similar for accountants and bookkeepers, regardless of whether the client is using MYOB Essentials or MYOB AccountRight,” MYOB’s Head of Product Dale Dixon said.

Early adopters of the MYOB AccountRight browser will have an insights driven dashboard for the first time and a new online reporting suite that includes cash management reporting, consolidated reports crossing multiple entities and custom report pack creation.

“The desktop app will remain at the heart of MYOB AccountRight, however adding browser-based functionality is a significant value add for customers and we’re excited to offer early access to a select few to try it out,” Mr. Dixon said.

“Aside from the new functionality available, offering flexibility in how, when and where our customers do their work is more important than ever with so many now working remotely.”

The browser-based enhancement is open to a small number of ‘early adopters’ who fit the required criteria. Partners using MYOB AccountRight can contact their Partner Manager or complete a web form to register their interest. SME customers can call support on 1300 555 123 (AU) or 0508 328 283 (NZ).

“Early adopters are an important way for us to test new functionality,” said Mr. Dixon.

“How they find the experience will determine improvements and modifications we need to make before releasing to a wider customer base.”

Feedback and results from the early adopter program will inform when and how a wider roll out takes place.
